THE Queen has been graciously pleased to confer the “Albert Medal of the Second Class” upon Ambrose Clarke, Foreman Sinker, and upon Bobert Drabble, Sinker, in recognition of gallantry displayed by them on the occasion of an accident which occurred in a sinking shaft called Rotherham Main,” situate ‘ near Rotherham, Yorkshire, on the 7th July last.
