Aaron Manley AM

b. ? 1843 Worsley, Manchester.  d. 12/1909 Swinton, Manchester.

Aaron was born in 1843 in Worsley, Manchester, the third of four children born to Aaron and Mary Manley. In 1863 he married Margaret Armstrong in Barton upon Irwell, and they went on to have three children. Aaron’s occupation was a boatbuilder at first, before later becoming a carpenter in a colliery. Aaron died in December 1909 in Swinton, Manchester and was buried in St Peter’s Churchyard.
