James Blair MOH

b. 1841 Schuyler County, Pennsylvania. d. ?

DATE OF MOH ACTION: 1872-73 Apache Campaign.

Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He was born in Schuyler County, Pennsylvania. He entered the U.S. Army at Camp Winfield Scott, Humbolt County, Nevada. He served as a First Sergeant in Company I, 1st U.S. Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for action during 1872-73 in the Apache Campaign. He received his Medal on 12 April 1875.
