DATE OF MOH ACTION: 13/08 and 31/10/1868 Black Mountains, Arizona.

Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He was born in Kilkenny, Ireland and entered the U.S. Army in Chicago, Illinois. He served as Private in Company L, 8th U.S. Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for action during August 13, and October 31, 1868 in the vicinity of the Black Mountains, Arizona.
