Daniel McKinley MOH

Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He entered the US Army at San Francisco, California. He served as a Private in Company B, 8th US Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for action in the vicinity of the Black Mountains in Arizona between August 13, and October 31, 1868. He enlisted in the military at age 21. In 1880, he was located at Fort Station, New Mexico with his wife Francisca Padilla, who was born in the New Mexico Territory, and their two sons Emiliano McKinley and Isidro McKinley.
