James Jardine MOH

Civil War Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a First Lieutenant in the Union Army. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Sergeant in Company F, 54th Ohio Infantry for action on May 22, 1863 at Vicksburg, Mississippi. His citation reads “Gallantry in the charge of the “volunteer storming party.” He did not receive the Medal until April 5, 1894.
