John Hall MOH

DATE OF MOH ACTION: 22/08 – 19/10/1868 Black Mountains, Arizona.

Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He was also known as John Hull. He entered the US Army at Sacramento, California. He served as a Private in Company B, 8th US Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for action in the vicinity of the Black Mountains, Arizona Territory between August 13, and October 31, 1868. His citation reads “Bravery in scouts and actions against Indians”. After his discharge from the United States Army, he disappeared into history, and his subsequent life and final disposition remain unknown.
