Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He entered the US Army at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He served as a Sergeant in Company I, 5th US Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for action on September 9, 1874 at Upper Wichita River, Texas. His citation reads “Gallantry in action”. He received the Medal on April 23, 1875. Little else is known about his life.
