Joseph Kimball MOH

Civil War Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Corporal in the Union Army. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Private in Company B, 2nd West Virginia Cavalry for action at Deatonville (Sailor’s Creek), Virginia on April 6, 1865. His citation reads “Capture of flag of 6th North Carlina Infantry (C.S.A.).” He was presented with his Medal on May 3, 1865.
