DATE OF MOH ACTION: 06/05/1873 Santa Maria Mountains, Arizona.

Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He entered the US Army at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He served as a Bugler in Company A, 1st US Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for action on May 6, 1873 at Santa Maria Mountains, Arizona. His citation reads “Gallantry in action; also services as a trailer in May 1872”. After his discharge from the United States Army, he disappeared into history, and his subsequent life and final disposition remain unknown. He received his Medal on August 12, 1873.
