Thaddeus B Glover MOH

 

Indian Campaigns Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Major, Quartermaster Corps in the United States Army. He was awarded the CMOH as a Sergeant in Troop B, 2d U.S. Cavalry for action on April 10, 1879 at Mispah Montana and on February 10, 1880 at Pumpkin Creek, Montana. His citation reads “While in charge of small scouting parties, fought, charged, surrounded, and captured war parties of Sioux Indians.” He did not receive his Medal of Honor until November 20, 1897.
