Thomas Gay MOH

Indian Campaign Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Private in Company B, 8th US Cavalry for action during August and October 1868 in Arizona. His citation reads “Bravery in scouts and actions against Indians.” He received his Medal on July 24, 1869.
