DATE OF MOH ACTION: 29/09/1864 Chapin’s Farm, Virginia.

Civil War Medal of Honor Recipient. His true name was Thomas W. McMarr. He served as a First Lieutenant NY Volunteers. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a First Sergeant in Company G, 158th New York Infantry for action on September 29, 1864 at Chapin’s Farm, Virginia. He received the Medal on April 6, 1865.

Led a section of his men on the enemy’s works, receiving a wound while scaling a parapet.
